Concord

Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED SEPTEMBER 28, 2026

Concord is a meeting-notes application for teams that work across English and Chinese. It records meetings, produces transcripts and translated captions, and turns them into summaries and meeting records. This policy describes what the application collects, where that information is held, and who else processes it.

What Concord collects

  • Account identifier. The email address you sign in with.
  • Meeting audio. Recordings you make in the app, and audio files you choose to import.
  • Meeting content. Transcripts, translations, summaries, action items, and any titles, client names, or project labels you enter.
  • Corrections you make. Names, terms, and spellings you fix, so recognition improves on later meetings.

Concord does not collect location, contacts, health data, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. It contains no advertising or analytics software, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Where it is stored

On servers operated by Concord on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Singapore. Live captions run through a Concord server in Hong Kong, which keeps a copy of each meeting recording for 30 days. Meeting audio and transcripts are not placed in consumer cloud storage.

Who else processes it

Producing captions, translations, and summaries requires sending content to specialist providers, which process it and return a result:

  • A cloud speech-recognition and translation provider — meeting audio for speech recognition, and text for translation. This processing takes place in mainland China. The provider may keep a temporary working copy of a recording for up to 48 hours.
  • An AI language-model provider — transcript text, to produce summaries and meeting records.
  • A second AI language-model provider — transcript text, used only as a fallback when the first is unavailable.

These providers may process content outside Singapore. Each handles the content under its own terms. Concord does not sell this information, does not share it for advertising, and does not use it to build profiles of individuals. The current list of providers is available on request.

How long it is kept

  • Live meeting audio — deleted automatically after 7 days. A meeting whose minutes have not been written yet keeps its audio for up to 30 days, so it can still be processed.
  • Transcripts, summaries, and meeting records — kept until you delete the meeting.
  • Sign-in sessions — expire after 90 days.

Who can see your meetings

Every account belongs to one organization. A meeting is visible only inside the organization that recorded it, and sharing a meeting with colleagues cannot cross that boundary. Within an organization, a meeting is private to the person who recorded it unless they choose to share it with their team.

Your choices

Deleting a meeting in the app removes its transcript, summary, and any retained audio. To have an account closed and its remaining content removed, contact us at the address below and we will action it.
